But I did not feel prompted to read it until this year which turned out to be a blessing because the message of this book echoes my own personal journey of the last 12 months, so when I read it, I found that Rohr’s words helped me articulate what I have been experiencing but could not quite describe. I confess to being a Richard Rohr fan. It can change your life. In a sense True Self must, like Jesus, be resurrected, and thatprocess is not resuscitation but transformation. I recommend it to all of my clients.


The ego has found its cover, so be quite careful about immogtal religious. The “true self” is a life “centered” in God rather than ego: It’s hard to rate this book. This book was a bit of a ricyard. Rohr should know that rape and sexual abuse doesn’t happen just to women, but to men and boys too.
