Review in GIF Form: They were my favorite in this book. Camelia is far from my favorite main character out of the books I’ve read, though her little back up team, Kimmie and Wes are some of my favorite side-kick characters.
Soon things start to turn interesting while Camelia works on her pottery and starts to hear voices and sees things. Even with the aspects I didn’t really enjoy, Deadpy have hope that it will all be fleshed out more in the following book s.
People accept her abilities a little too easily.
So smug I guessed the stalker hehe! I didn’t hate Ben though and I felt like he did have chemistry with Camelia. I enjoyed the interactions of the Aunt. The Deadly Little Lies book is a mystery suspense romance book and the setting is never stated but called laurei the town.
Can that drama really happen to the same girl that many times? He can’t let go though and misses her so he frequently pops up.
Deadly Little Lies (Touch, #2) by Laurie Faria Stolarz
This book was full of suspense, just the way I like it! More torturing, ex-boyfriend Ben, who has similar psychometric abilities, has been spending more time with their classmate Alejandra, even as her own feelings for Adam grow stronger. I beg of the author to simmer down on this emo insanity and help the characters in this series to lighten up and learn to talk to others.
And I have a feeling I’ll be relieved that it is actually, the last one. Thanks for telling us about the problem. Throughout the entire book I was pissed with Ben. The “there are two” comment kind of trashed that whole attempt. Overall, enjoyable enough to read the sequel, not enough to rant and rave and reccomend it to everyone I see. I think that Camelia should just forget about Adam because she obviously has a connection with Ben that she can never have with Adam.
And there are some really good twists–such as the journal entries we get. Oh my god, she made me soo angry! Don’t make any assumptions. Ben insists that her life is in grave danger and tells Camelia that he can help.
Deadly Little Secret (Touch, #1) by Laurie Faria Stolarz
The plot itself was spectacular and moved along quite quickly. And I know that she can sense the future for a fact because right after I finished the book I searched up the second book veadly see what it was going to be about.
The times where I didn’t like Camelia all had to do with Adam.
And the second half its a 4. There were a few things I had a hard time suspending belief over. At the same time, Camelia begins to get odd things in the mail like pictures of herself with slightly creepy and foreboding messages scribbled on them. So This book definitely had me spooked, especially since I would read it at night alone in my apartment. Camelia meets Ben when he saves her life. To view it, click here.
The new character Adam adds to the story and the author does a great job adding conflict. And the most heartbreaking thing of all is that he admits sfolarz Camelia that he is not right for her at this point in time, yet he is lurie watching over her through Adam and evidently still loves her.
So, while I thought it was a good read with great writing to keep the reader in suspense, I have my complaints.
Deadly Little Voices
She doesn’t see him again, until the deafly day of her junior year. Do I recommend this book? It was unexpected and kind of anticlimactic.
